CASE STUDY

Puffsy: a fragrance brand that sells in two seconds.

Puffsy set out to create a category that didn't exist in Mexico — the pocket cologne. A 20ml spray you carry everywhere, built around one idea: the two-second ritual before everything that matters. We helped shape the brand, designed the store, and built a sales funnel with no cart at all — just a WhatsApp conversation.

The challenge

Launching a new product is hard; launching a new category is harder. Nobody in Mexico was searching for "pocket spray" — the product had to explain itself in seconds and be as easy to buy as it is to use. A classic e-commerce funnel (browse → cart → checkout → account) would have added exactly the friction the product's whole promise removes.

Brand & storytelling

Six fragrances built on Egyptian essences deserved a story bigger than "cologne, but small." We leaned into 5,000 years of perfume history — names like Nile Gold, Desert Storm, Asad and Anubis Intense give each scent a character and an occasion, from the office to the last hour of the night. The voice is confident, Mexican, and direct: "Hay gente que llega. Y gente que se nota." There are people who arrive — and people who stand out.

Positioning the product as a ritual — two seconds before everything that matters — turned a novelty item into a habit people can picture themselves having.

Web design

The site is a single-page store designed to be read in one scroll: what it is, why it matters, which scent fits which moment. Instead of category trees, fragrances are organized by life — office, dating, gym, university — so choosing takes seconds, not comparison tables. Every section funnels to one action.

  • One page, one scroll, one action — no navigation maze between the visitor and the purchase
  • Occasion-based product framing that removes decision paralysis for a first-time category
  • Spanish-first copy written for Mexico, not translated for it — "Hecho para México" is the point

The WhatsApp-first sales funnel

In Mexico, WhatsApp is where commerce actually happens — so instead of bolting on a checkout, we made WhatsApp the checkout. Every buy button opens a conversation with the order pre-composed. The flow behind it is automated: instant response, scent recommendation help, payment coordination and follow-up — with a human stepping in exactly when a conversation needs one. No accounts, no abandoned carts, no forms.

It's the same principle we bring to every automation engagement: find the friction, hand it to software, keep humans where judgment lives.

The outcome

Puffsy launched with a brand that explains a new category on sight, a store that sells it in one scroll, and a purchase flow that meets Mexican buyers exactly where they already talk. The whole system — brand, site, funnel — is built to be run by a tiny team, because the busywork answers itself.
